About Barkatullah University (BU-BHOPAL)

The University formerly known as Bhopal University was established in 1970 in the capital city of Madhya Pradesh. In 1988, it was rechristened as the Barkatullah Vishwavidyalaya, in the living memory of the great freedom fighter, Prof. Barkatullah belongs to Bhopal. The university is globally renowned for dazzling academic programs that encourage active students participation through applied learning, research, and social service. University is nationally recognized for the meaningful podium of knowledge generation and dissemination.

The University covers almost a total spectrum of higher education, offering courses in its affiliated colleges and the teaching departments in the faculties of Arts, Social Science, Science, Life Science, Home Science, Medicine, Commerce and Business Management, Law, Engineering, Education and Technical Education. There are more than one hundred seventy colleges affiliated to the University. The University campus is located along Jabalpur-Jaipur National highway(NH-12) at a distance of about 3 km. BU Bhopal Exam Admit Card / Hall Ticket Download

Barkatullah University Admit cards 2019 Examinations for Undergraduate/ Postgraduate courses will begin shortly at the examination centres allotted by the Barkatullah University. The detailed Examination events/ exam dates/ Exam centre & Roll no shall be mentioned in the Exam Admit cards. Barkatullah University Summer 2019 Admit cards shall be anticipated through university website 2 weeks preceding to Exams.

The admit card for Barkatullah University Examination 2019 is issued. The download process of admit card will be done in two-phase. Firstly, the admit card will be issued for those students who submitted their application form without the late fee. After that admit card will be issued for those students who submitted their application form against late fee. Barkatullah University Admission 2019

Barkatullah University offers BE and integrated B.Tech - M.Tech in the field of Engineering & Medical Sciences. Various specializations are offered in Integrated B.Tech - M.Tech such as Biomedical Engineering, Stem Cell Engineering, and Cyber Law & Information Security. The duration of all these courses is five years. Admission is offered by DTE followed by counseling based on the merit in PET organized by V.P. Mandal, Madhya Pradesh.

The university offers various courses at UG level which includes B.A., LL.B., integrated B.A.LL.B., B.P.Ed, and B.Pharm. Admission to the B.Pharm course is given by DTE through counseling based on merit in PET organized by V.P. Mandal, Madhya Pradesh. For all the other Undergraduate level courses, candidates are selected on merit-based or test organized by the university.

At PG level, Barkatullah University offers M.Tech and MBA programs in different specializations under Barkatullah University Institute of Technology. The university offers two specializations in M.Tech such as Material Science and Nanotechnology. To secure admission in M.Tech course, the candidates have to qualify in GATE while for MBA, the university organizes its own entrance test. At the time of MBA admission, preference is also given to the CAT/ MAT or any other National or State level entrance qualified students.

The university also offers special PG courses like M.F.Sc, M.P.Ed, and M.Pharm for the duration of two years. B.F.Sc and B.P.Ed qualified students are eligible to apply for M.F.Sc and M.P.Ed courses respectively while B.Pharm degree is mandatory for the M.Pharm course with 50% marks in aggregate. M.F.Sc and M.Pharm admission is purely merit-based while to secure a seat in the M.P.Ed program, the candidates have to qualify in the Barkatullah University entrance test.

BU Bhopal offers Master of Science (MS), MA, M.Com, LL.M, and M.Sc in various specializations. Barkatullah University organizes a separate entrance test for MS in Cyber Law & Information Security and LL.M course. For MA and M.Sc programs, the university releases separate merit lists with respect to the marks obtained in the last qualifying examination.

Barkatullah University offers admission to M.Phil & Ph.D. programs in various specializations. The minimum eligibility is a pass in the relevant Postgraduate degree with at least 50% marks in aggregate. The admission is granted on the basis of Ph.D. Entrance Test followed by a performance in interview and Work Experience.
