Devi Ahilya University, Madhya Pradesh is the university which is used to conduct examination for the candidates in the state of Madhya Pradesh. Devi Ahilya Vishwavidalaya is a major university in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India. It is also called Indore University. Devi Ahilya University was established in the year 1964 by an act of legislative assembly of Madhya Pradesh. Initially it was known as the University of Indore and the jurisdiction was limited to the district of Indore. Later in the year 1988 University was renamed after the famous and benevolent ruler of Malwa i.e. Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar. During reorganization of the Universities the jurisdiction of the University was expanded over to Indore division spanning over Six Districts. In Indore division, there are fifty four development blocks, out of which forty development blocks are identified as tribal blocks. In all there are 153 affiliated colleges imparting education at Undergraduate and Postgraduate level in almost all the basic & professional disciplines. University now has 6000 students in its campus and total 1,20,000 students in its affiliated colleges. University has 16 Faculties.

Devi Ahilya University Admission 2019

The university offers various Undergraduate, Postgraduate and research programmes to the candidates in multiple streams such as Arts, Science, Commerce etc. The university will make the final decision in all the cases related to admission procedure and also has the full authority to introduce changes in the rules without any prior notification.

For each academic session, the university organizes a common entrance for the students seeking out admissions to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Once the exam is cleared by the students, the candidates will have to appear for the counseling process, as per the university guidelines.

Students seeking admission to the university programmes must fulfill the required eligibility criteria in order to appear for the entrance test. Interested students can obtain the concerned application form available at the university website or in person from the university office and submit it upon completion to along with the prescribed fee.

Online Exam Form of DAVV

The university orgnizes an online examination for the courses offered by different schools of the university. Selection of students is done on the basis of the common entrance examination (CET), organize separately by each school.

While filling out the application form, the student must mention the category he/she belong to and attach the required certificated mentioned as compulsory for the admission process. If a student fails to mention the category he/she belongs to, he/she cannot seek admission to any reserved category seat. If he/she wish to apply for multiple courses, then the application form for each course must be filled in, separately.

students must pay an application fee of Rs. 750/- (Rs.400/- for SC/ST) through mponline portal via an authorized kiosk. He/she must report on the specified date by the respective schools for the entrance test and counseling.

If the students marksheet does not specify the exact percentage of marks scored by him/her, the university will require him/her to produce a certificate alloted by the competent authority along with the conversion formula applied for the calculation of marks.
